Few DJs have made such a dramatic impact on the underground house and techno scene over the last two years as Hot Creations label owner Lee Foss.

Described by DJ Mag as “one of the most talented new forces in modern dance music today” and by fellow future house innovators Art Department as their favourite producer, Lee has firmly established himself in dance music’s collective consciousness. Lee and his Hot Natured band mates Jamie Jones and Infinity Ink are currently leading a whole family of like-minded producers that includes Richy Ahmed, WaFF, Digitaria, Robert James and Miguel Campbell, who are currently re-writing the rulebook of how to make evocative, emotive house music. In 2010 he was the highest new entry into Resident Advisor’s key Top 100 DJs poll, entering at number 38 and by 2011 he had climbed to number 18 in the chart, a huge feat given that he only played his first European gig in 2009.

Having hit the UK charts with ‘Benediction’ as part of deep house super group Hot Natured, with genre-spanning hits such as ‘Electricity’ (with MK) and ‘Reverse Skydiving’ under his belt, alongside remixes of chart topping artists such as Rudimental and Lana del Ray, Lee Foss is one of the most exciting forces in modern house music. Not forgetting Hot Creations, the groundbreaking label he runs with partner Jamie Jones, which is arguably one of the world’s most innovative house labels. His unique sound, born out a lifelong love of classic house, 90s hip hop, 80s electro and Detroit techno, has earned him fanatical grassroots support from clubbers in both Europe and North America.

Though born and raised in Chicago, it was in Ibiza that he first became friends with Jamie Jones and the pair formed a tight brotherly bond that quickly blossomed into their highly acclaimed Hot Creations label partnership with Richy Ahmed, and later their Hot Natured band project with Infinity Ink and their worldwide event brand, Paradise.

Since then, Lee has gone on to release a string of hits on a variety of labels including ‘The Edge EP’, ‘Equilibrium’, ‘U Got Me’ and ‘Starfruit EP’, all of which have been independently awarded ‘Tune of the Month’ in Mixmag at various points. Lee has recently joined forces with house legend MK and vocalist Anabel Englund to form a second electronic outfit, Pleasure State. The trio’s first EP, Electricity, has already landed to much success with Pete Tong announcing the title track as his ‘Essential New Tune’ earlier this year.

With this many accolades under his belt in such a short space of time, it would be easy for Lee to rest on his laurels but this couldn’t be farther from the case. The innovative Hot Natured Live Show kicked off with two back to back sold out shows at Brixton Academy earlier this Spring and will lead into the band headlining slots at the new Silver Hayes dance stage at Glastonbury, Sonar in Barcelona, Bestival on the Isle of Wight and Wavefront in Chicago. Undeniably this is shaping up to be yet another career-defining year for Lee Foss.

‘It’s all House and Techno & and I’m not interested fads’ these words by Darius Syrossian not only define the style and sound of Darius, but also represent the principles by which he has successfully made his name as a DJ, Producer, Label boss and Radio host at a global level.

This year Darius Syrossian takes his DO NOT SLEEP party to Space Ibiza where he holds a weekly residency, he will be also delivering a compilation for the esteemed Balance series, and later in the year there is an Essential Mix for Radio 1, while continuing his international touring schedule.

But as a true workaholic Darius Syrossian has been living and breathing, playing and producing house music for all of his adult life. Having served 14 years in a record shop, he has the grass roots knowledge and understanding that has helped him rise to the very top of the global pile. Having played gigs at every major club and festival in every continent, he has also produced & released music on a whole host of the biggest record labels out there, with his most recent work in 2016 appearing on taste making labels such as Mobilee sister label Leena, Material, Swiss label Definition:Music as well as releasing the huge track Funkflex on the vinyl only label Rimming Records as an unnamed artist, and lets not forget his productions on his own Do Not Sleep label that is releasing music on both Vinyl & Digital.

Passionate and refreshingly outspoken Darius makes and plays music that is just as standout. a DJ Mag Best of British award winner who has helped establish Ibiza parties with influential residences for Viva Warriors and Tribal Sessions, but last year saw Darius Syrossian finally start his own brand DO NOT SLEEP, a party which took ibiza by storm in the summer of 2015
DO NOT SLEEP is now also a record label & a worldwide monthly radio show,

For Darius, The Radio show, the Space Residency, touring the world DJ’ing, alongside his producing & remixing, all of it embraces the philosophy of Darius to always focus on the music, and to always guard the principles of house and techno, and always, to remain true. In his own words: “I’m into the scene because I LOVE THE MUSIC, not like a lot of people who are into the music because they LOVE THE SCENE. It’s only about the music for me, and that’s all that matters!?”

An affinity for dance music is threaded intrinsically into Nastia’s genetic makeup. She hails from a tiny Ukrainian village where as a child she helped her mother rear chickens and pigs, with no musical education to speak of. But a passionate love for dancing and music developed within her, and in pursuing this she’s now taken position among Europe’s most in-demand selectors.

Nastia started her musical path sneaking into clubs at the age of 13, and by 17 had started working as a dancer in beloved Donetsk nightspot Club NLO. This satisfied her for a time, but eventually she felt the need for a closer, more intimate connection with the music and began to DJ.

Behind the decks Nastia maintains the intensity of a professional dancer. In 2009 a clip of her performing during a nine-hour set at Moscow festival KaZantip’s closing party went viral, with the ferocity of her movement and the potency of her records blowing minds across the world.

In 2013 she entered the production studio for the first time and showed equal adeptness at crafting transcendent cuts of simmering, deep techno with the ‘Maslo’ EP landing on Nilla. In the same year she founded her vinyl-only Propaganda label through which she has pushed a similarly distinct sound.

Counting herself as a selector first and foremost, through 2016 Nastia lived up to the high standards she holds herself to. Clubs across the globe lined up to book her, including the likes of fabric, Panorama Bar and DC-10, and with every set she’s dazzled crowds, earning herself the eighth spot in Mixmag’s DJs of 2016.

Miguel Migs emerged from the 90’s deep house underground scene to become the kind of artist who transcends the stylistic limitations of a genre so very few can. Although Migs always loved and listened to all different styles of music, in the early 90’s he connected to the soulful sounds of Deep House. By the mid ’90s he began experimenting with producing electronic dance music. And by the time the new millennium dawned, a string of releases and remixes on numerous leading indie dance labels earned him an enviable reputation among discerning dance music fans
worldwide. As Petalpusher, he’d also become a stalwart of the hugely influential Naked Music stable with his original productions, remixes and compilations. But even bigger things were to follow.

His well-received 2002 debut album Colorful You came out on the legendary Astralwerks label, and Migs began to attract attention from the broader music community, remixing big-name artists as diverse as Macy Gray, Lionel Richie and Britney Spears (yes, really). After years of relentless non stop global touring, his 2007 follow-up album Those Things saw him collaborating with big-hitting names like hip-hop legend Sadat X and Reggae icon Junior Reid among others. The album was nominated for Best Dance Album in the Independent Music Awards, and was also included in Virgin records yearly ‘Virgin Recommends 24 ECD’ promotion not to mention the single So Far went into the Top 5 in the Billboard Dance chart and #5 on the iTunes dance chart.

Migs’ reputation is such that when it came to recording his last album Outside The Skyline (which debuted in the iTunes top 10 dance chart and received rave reviews by top publications) he was able to pull together an impressive line-up of collaborators including original disco diva Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King, reggae legends Half-Pint and Freddie McGregor, first lady of musicianship Meshell Ndegeocello, Berlin based jazz singer Georg Levin and bossa nova phenomenon Bebel Gilberto who all make an appearance on the album, alongside two vocalists who’ve been regular co-conspirators through the years, Aya and Lisa Shaw.

The result is a sophisticated melting pot of sound that has trademarked Miguel Migs. Informed by electronic elements but no slave to metronomic dancefloor rhythms and tempos, it takes influences from rock, jazz, reggae, soul and more, with a heavy emphasis on high-quality song writing and equally high production values.

Despite achieving levels of success – both critical and commercial – Migs remains a genuinely humble, self-effacing individual. A globe-trotting DJ, nominated on a Beatport poll as ‘Best Deep House Producer’ who, rather than constantly follows the trends or hype, prefers to let his music do the talking. Thankfully, his music more than does the talking – it speaks to people. Just listen.

Being a huge fan of early 70’s, 80’s, 90’s Soul, Disco, Funk, Hip Hop & Reggae, Dr Packer started taking influence from producers like Late Nite Tuff Guy. He loved the way the original songs were beefed up and sounded much fatter on a club system whilst still maintain the original vibe of the record. In addition to this the edits were ‘DJ friendly’ meaning you were able to beat mix them flawlessly unlike playing the original vinyl versions.

In August 2013 Packer produced his first two edits ‘Keni Burke – Rising To The Top’ and ‘Hall & Oates – I Can’t Go For That’. Unsure of what to do with them he sent them to ‘Fingerman’. He instantly played both of them on his radio show and suggested to send more his way. This was the push Packer needed to continue with what was initially a bit of a fun in the studio.

Off the back of this support he started his own Surgery Edits series on Disco Dat Records. This proved to be a hit immediately with it taking out the coveted #1 spot on Juno Download and holding the position for 6 weeks. Since then Packerg has released 7 in this series all of which have gone straight to #1.

Dr Packer has quickly become a mainstay in the sets of some of the biggest names in the disco world with the likes of Greg Wilson, Hot Toddy, Fingerman, Joey Negro and Norman Jay regularly featuring his edits in their performances. All of this support helped Dr Packer to be voted #1 in the Traxsource Top 20 Nu Disco Artists midway through 2015. At the end of the year Dr Packer came in at #4 in the Top 100 Disco Artists

With 2016 already off to a flyer with a busy touring schedule seeing tours planned for Australia, Asia and the UK/EU, it’s fair to say that things are only just beginning to heat up for the Dr from the West.
